[ON DEMAND] Preparing for CDP Disclosure 2026

Ahead of the release of the CDP 2026 questionnaire, organisations are preparing for the upcoming disclosure cycle while managing competing, complex reporting requirements. When approached strategically, CDP can play a practical role in supporting alignment across climate, nature, and regulatory disclosures.

Watch the Agendi Webinar recording as a helpful primer ahead of the guidance release.

A few key updates to the 2026 CDP disclosure cycle:

  • Ocean disclosure (new): For the first time, organizations can opt in to report on ocean-related data. Unscored in 2026, but an important signal of where environmental reporting is heading.
  • Expanded Forests questionnaire: Cocoa, coffee, and rubber are newly added to the scored commodity list.
  • SMEs now eligible for A-List scoring: Small and medium enterprises can for the first time achieve leadership-level recognition.
  • SME questionnaire updates: Forest and Water Security questions have been updated, and an overall increase of alignment with the TNFD framework.
  • Stronger adaptation and resilience questions: Expanded expectations around how organizations are preparing for physical climate and nature-related risks

Why does this matter? With over 22,000 companies disclosing through CDP, and investor and regulatory scrutiny continuing to grow, a strong, well-prepared submission is increasingly a baseline expectation, not just a best practice. With CDP’s increasing alignment with global frameworks and regulations, CDP disclosure can be a helpful tool to align across reporting jurisdictions and operations.

If you have questions about how these changes affect your organization, or you’re considering disclosing for the first time, reach out to the Agendi team.
